Come to a Night of Music & Worship with the Ouachita Singers and Ouachita Worship. The event is on Tuesday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. at Highland Park Baptist Church (1000 S. Bishop Rd, Texarkana, Texas). The event is free and a love offering will be given.
The Ouachita Singers is an ensemble of 33 auditioned vocalists from Ouachita Baptist University. Repertoire includes challenging music from all musical periods. The group tours yearly and has toured Europe in 2002, 2004, 2006, and 2010. The group recorded five compact discs. The primary purpose of their tour is gospel ministry and their secondary purpose is to represent their university in recruiting efforts.
In addition to the exceptional musical offering, the congregation will join in worship led by eight worship studies students.
